The Good-

-$2k in receipts over the last 6 weeks including: timing chain, new headgasket, cv joints, new rear shocks (to replace old self-leveling), serpentine belt, tune-up.

-New ACC (auto climate control) installed in winter

-New front electric seat, both front seats are electric, and work

-Rear brakes done last summer

-New battery this month

-New hoses last summer

-Leather is 9 out of 10 condition

-Body/Paint 8.5 out of 10 condition, minor scratches from my bike bumping into the car since I've owned it

- two owner car, I've had for 2 years

- original window, sticker manual, receipts, etc.

-Car is a good year, has the 2.3 200hp turbo motor, but not the TCS (traction control system) which haunted Saabs for a couple of years.

-Transmission shifts smoothly, no issues there.

-regular oil changes, synthetic

-Classic black, it looks very nice

The Bad-

-Needs headliner, what saab doesn't?

-little things that don't affect the overall running condition have never worked since I've owned the car, and I'm not the sort that would obsess over them to begin with such as: SRS light on, headlights have windsheild wipers that don't move, Abs comes on infrequently (but abs is definitely working), car has original cd/radio- it works, but the cd player itself is touchy.

For whatever reason, after all this work to get the vehicle ready for a family road trip to Southern California it now has a slightly lumpy throttle, I can't get a precise diagnosis; some think it’s the DI cassette; I'm tired of chasing the fix.
