You just said the magic words...... "one owner"
A 13 (almost14) year old car that has been cosmeticly that well taken has probably also been kept up mechanically. Ask about service records. Chances are the owner has them all.
As for the TCS stuff, I was a cynic about TCS for many years (even though I'd never owned a 9000 with this feature). Having owned 5 9000's, and owning 3 at the time, I stumbled across a 94 Aero, original owner. Asked about service records, he said "I've got most of it, but I'm not anal about it" and proceeded to bring out a fold that went back to purchase date, even receipts from the dealer for replacing light bulbs and tire rotations. This car has TCS, and looking through 12 years of service history, I can see that the TCS system's been serviced twice.
It's not bullitproof, but if you buy a car with air conditioning and power windows it will be also more expensive to fix if it breaks.
From what I can see, having someone who knows HOW to fix TCS is the biggest thing(if it fails).
Read Quasi-motors site for some background.
The biggest thing is to expect to spend $1000 on repairs in the first year and smile if you don't.
I've had my 94 Aero a year now, spent NOTHING on it other than routine maintanance and knew from the service records what routine maintanance had been done by the PO.
Go for it.
THERE IS NOTHING LIKE AN AERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
