Don't have the V6 engine book for the 9000 so I can't say for sure about the steps.
But after the oil cooler lid is secured, I install and tighten the two nuts you mention.
The only seal needed is the o-ring that is placed on top of the oil cooler pipes (under the lid).
I tighten the two nuts as much as a dare (which is a very flexible word).
The book for 9-5 seems to be saying 30Nm (22 lbf ft).
The banjo bolts and nuts have come loose from factory so that's why I tighten them a little bit more since it's such a bear to get to them later.
