93 CSET - My TCS dilemma

Since everyone with TCS has a story I thought I would share mine. I bought this car about 6 months ago. The TCS light was on and the codes were for the throttle body and crank sensor. I puchased a used throttle body and safety valve and was fortunate to have a visit from my Saab Angel (David Ingram) equipped with his OBD1 computer. He cleared the codes and the engine purred like a kitten. For some reason the ACC system had errors and prevented him from doing a cal. I didn't care because it was running great. After a few days of driving I realized I had no blower motor. I pulled it all apart. Once I was finished I started the car and it started normally. I still had no blower motor. OOPs, I forgot to plug in the connector. I corrected that and tried to start the car. It struggled and I found I was back in TCS mode. I have tried a known good safety valve on both the firewall and wheelwell. I have replaced most of the vacuum lines. I have even tried my spare throttle body. I have disconnected my battery overnight. I even bought a spare ECU thinking that installing it would cause the codes to clear. I am guessing that a reset will straighten it out (at least temporarily) but probably will not correct the real problem. If not the ECU, where are the error codes stored and is there any way to do a reset without an OBD1? Any and all help/suggestions will be appreciated. I will not give up on this car. When it was not in TCS mode it ran great and handled beautifully.
