This message really brings back Memories; I had this problem at a UPULLIT yard back in August on a 100 degree day. At 4 PM they unloaded a SAAB 9000 from a wrecker. I looked inside and I couldnt believe it! Relaltively new SELMO Seats with a strong whiff of Leather. The price schedule at the UPULL IT was fixed, so I only had to pay 80 for them,; the problem was the yard was closing in 50 minutes and I knew two other groups were planning to come back the next morning to get them since they had no Torx head sockets. Luckily I did! Unfortunately the seats were retracted backwards and covered the bolt heads. Boy I was sweating bullets--no electricity in the car, no battery, for some reason all the fuses and forward wiring had been yanked anyway when they took out the engine. I was even thinking of hacksawing the seats off of the frame...I thought what a shame,I really wanted these seats badly--Suddenly I had a brainstorm--- My solution was to run to my car and get my battery and run back and hook it to the power connector at the back of the seat, think it was red and green, got the seats to move. Boy that was a stress out day!
