Ray, my CDE with TCS was VERY bad on startup a while back after I disconnected the vacuum lines to the TB. I changed over all the vacuum lines to the check valves, safety valves, TB, fuel pressure regulator and blow off valve and it wouldn't stay running afterward unless I was 1/2 throttle. I disconnected the battery, unplugged the electrical connection to the throttle body and let it sit for an hour. Plugged it back in, fired it up and it was very bad for another 3-5 seconds until it cleared itself out; seemed to "learn" how to run well again after a few seconds, and now purrs like a kitten. Something to try that's free anyway...
