Ordered Sachs clutch kit from Sobstory; 86-90 B202 (turbo) specifies part # 87 81 320 kit. Now, this should be a 228mm pp and disk. Opened the box, 215mm; like off a B202I engine.
Told Jim and we thought that a customer had shipped back a mis-ordered assy in the new box. So, got another one. Guess what- 215mm (~8.5in.)
Now, this one was sealed from Sachs.
Saab EPC shows kit 87 81 320
EEuroparts shows 2 kits: Original Saab, 87 81 320G; and a Sachs 87 81 320A.

Would someone shed some light on where we or Sachs are screwing up? Anyone else had a problem with finding a 228mm clutch kit??

We ordered a 234 kit for comparison, but I don't think it will work either- wrong P/N
