You could get anywhere from 20,000 to 120,000 miles out of it. If you maintain the car well and use the right plugs and everything, you'll buy yourself more time.
Last DI that went into our 900SE lasted for just over a year and 20,000 miles. Saab wouldn't take it back because it was over a year old, even though I think it was obviously defective. The original DI in that car lasted to about 70,000 miles.
The original in my 9000 lasted until 120k, the next one that went in lasted a week (yes, a week) and the replacement for that has been good for about 30,000 and is still good.
I think the newest ones have had the QC issues worked out, although you never know. Using the right NGK plugs and dielectric grease is about all you can do to prolong its life, other than hoping it's not a bad DI from the factory.
