Hey, it's me again - I seem to be right ahead of you in the upgrades you're considering... :)
I put Axxis Ultimate ceramics on all four corners with brand-new Brembo rotors about a month ago. So far, I'd have to say they dust about the same as the old Textar pads (notorious for dusting) that I replaced them with. My front wheels are still black. :(
So far, I'd say the Axxis Ultimates have greater stopping power than the stock Textars, but less early bite and less modulation.
What I mean by that is that the Textars seem to produce a bit more initial braking force and were easier to control. The Ultimates don't provide as good an initial feel or as much brake pedal control, but they're like throwing out an anchor if you need it. It may take a bit of getting used to. But the available braking power is now quite substantial.
I don't know if the ceramics cool faster, but they are able to withstand many hard stops better than the stock pads, so they have a higher heat tolerance.
Hope this helps,
-John
