1993 CSET to AERO ecu swap

I've got a 5speed '93 CSET(w/tcs) and have just purchased a 5speed '93 AERO ECU(w/tcs).
I was planning on just swapping them, but hadn't even thought about the fact that AERO models carry a different turbo.
Would this ecu swap even benefit me or would it just be dangerous?
Also, if the GarretT25 can handle the AERO ecu, would it be unsafe to continue running a MBC?
thanks
