Ok, the bolt that broke was one of the captive bolts for the clutch master cyl. Turns out they are splined and I was able to carefully drive it out after grinding 75% of the head away. Installed a spare nut/bolt and evertyhing seemed to fall in place from there.

Used my one man Vac bleeder for about 10mins before I realized it wasn't doing anything. Found an old inner tube and gave that method a shot. Seemed to work rather quickly and the car actually will drive with the clutch now. Last thing I need to do is get a new clutch pedal return spring; now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that's been broken since I've owned the car!

Still not having fun, but this project is behind me.
