I forgot to mention I found out why the 94cde is overheating. One of the three leads on the coolant temperature sensor on the radiator broke off because of corrosion. So the fan did not come on. I soldered it back on and patched all three wires in two part epoxy to fix it.

It is ironic after I fix the radiator and the front wheel bearing the 94cde is actually in very good mechanical shape. Although it does have the achilles heel having sustained a rear end collision having the rear bumper pushed in slightly. I have toyed with the idea of parting it but wife would have nothing of it. I think she's right we don't want an eye sore in the garage taking up space.

It is even more ironic the trip I made home to pick up the tool I thought I missed was not needed at all. The new Nissen radiator has two coolant tubing connections on the passenger side for the automatic transmission. Came also with the carton there are two plastic plugs and o-rings. I was mislead by the plugs thinking I need to plug up those two connections using the two plastic plugs. The plugs has threads matching those on the radiator connection which have the same male threads I thought I need to remove that on the radiator to fit the plugs.

I later learned I can simply ignore both plastic plugs and left the two connections on the radiator un touched. But the canvas tool bag was already gone.

I have already picked up some craftsman tools on Ebay being eternally cheap and having resigned to the fact I won't get the tools back.
