Kevin,
Today I replaced the tire and immediately found out the cause of yesterday's flat. After I mounting on the rim the tire valve leaked profusely. I never have seen a tire valve split before. Off it came again with a new valve.
Before remouting tire on car I removed caliper, spun rotor and checked side-side and up-down play on rotor. Couldn't find any looseness but upon driving I think I still hear a slight grind with highway driving.
No debris behind rotor but I am concernned to have found CV grease everwhere. 4 weeks ago I changed outer CV boot/regreased but it was not broken. It wasn't enough grease as the boot's capacity and the boot is not dislodged/torn. Could driving on a flat tire perhaps cause the recently repacked boot to "bleed?"
