Sorry for the delay in responding.

Yes, I have used the tool, with a variety of results. In general, it takes the bushing out without any drama. Depending on how the hoses are, sometimes you need to move a hose or two, especially near the fuel damper.

Insertion is a bit trickier. It has gone right somewhat over 50% of the time. For that reason, I just pull the darn piece and go to a shop. However, if it does work, it is less work. Since the bushing has gone in once already, you know it's the right size (don't ask about that!). There are some tricks-
The first is that it is CRITICAL that the bushing go in exactly straight. If it looks like it is cocking, even a little, STOP. Back it out and start again. It will not straighten out (self-align). Instead, it will dig into the aluminum of the housing and build up a groove. Not good. Next, don't force the tool. It does take some effort, but if things start to get really hard, back it out.

I recommend taking some fine sandpaper to the outside of the bushing while it is out, to make sure there are no high spots. And a thin layer of some dish soap on the inside of the housing can't hurt.
