Much useful, and useable info was gleaned from here and elsewhere.
4 1/2 inch tensioner bracket worked very well (used a black pipe nipple and #12 sheet metal screws. May not be strong enough to hold to loosen tensioner pulley, but wasn't taking belt off...) Could be even shorter, say 4 1/4, but not necessary.
1994 Aero had T-40 bolts for pump to block, and T-30 holding pulley to pump. Had to "pressure wash" the T-40's with penetrating fluid/brake cleaner/whatever to flush the crud out and get the T-40 socket fully inserted, else damage to bolts and/or socket seems likely.
Got a straight shot at the banjo bolt with two extensions running under the turbo and over to the air filter plumbing. More room to work, but bolt was still very tight, difficult to loosen.
Reassembly was cake (relatively), didn't use any gasket poly, did Vaseline the o-rings, replaced a couple of hose clamps, haven't had any leaks!
baby's about ready for clutch and tranny, though. Never been done, far as I know, and we've had it 7 1/2 years and 140k. Happy Holidays, y'all!
