Hi guys my first posting. YEAH!!
In relation to the SRS light I have just been looking at my Saab manual that I have on CD, you know the one you buy on Ebay. It says
WARNING;
To disable SRS, disconnect the negitive battery cable.
Wait 20 moinutes before wqorking on the vehicle. To activate system, reconnect negitive battery cable. Perform system check.
System Operation Check.
Turn ignition on. If system is operating properly, 2 bulbs located behind SRS symbol in instrument panel should come on for about 5 second, then go out. If one or more diagnostic trouble codes are stored in memory, one bulb will flsch for 5 minutes and then saty on until ignition is turned off or trouble codes are cleared. Bulb No. 2 will stay on as soon ass ignition is turned on and will remain on until ignition is turned off or trouble codes are cleared.
Hope this is helpful.
