From the Saab shop manual...
from switch terminal 30, a yellow/white wire goes to H10-1-1 (pin 1 of 10-pin connector #1 located under the dashboard to the left of the heater housing,
then to H10-1-4,
then to #239 (gear selector switch, which appears to be located near the shifter in the center console).
Within #239, it goes to the starting interlock contacts #77, pin 1.
The other end of the interlock contacts (pin 5) goes via a yellow wire back to H10-1-5,
then through a yellow/white wire to H10-1-2,
then to pin 1 of # 289 (anti-theft module, extreme right below dashboard)
The connection to pin 9 of #289 is open when the alarm is armed so no one can crank the engine.
From pin 9, a yellow wire goes back to H10-1-3,
then to H10-1-6,
then to H10-20-9,
then to the starter.
H10-20 is in the engine bay on the left beside the TRIONIC module (black).
So it goes through both the shifter interlock and the anti-theft alarm. If you can find H10-1, you should be able to isolate the problem.
