Light didn't work anymore. Removed light assembly and found black wire
terminal corroded and wire off! The terminal also corroded off and broken.
The connector was still on the broken terminal. But, where did the black
wire go? Believe it or not, I can't find it! It must be so short that when it came off it went behind something? Without disassembling everything around it, I'm hoping someone knows. I know it is a black wire because the brown and yellow wires are zipped tied together and are there and I compared to the trunk light in my 92 900 Conv (same assembly and works perfectly). Where does this black wire come from in the 9K? Any easy fix? The brown and yellow wires are enough to keep the light on
all the time but not be actuated by opening the lid which of course is what I want to do. Must be mercury switch somewhere?
