Not really a question is it? :-)
There simply is no substitute… I've tried to find one! Just last week a friend of mine partial to BMW's let me drive his M5 for a few days. Nice car. Their [BMW] boards are as lively as ours, and their loyalty runs as deep. I drove the hell out of it, but never felt that incredible rush of power at 1900 RPM… Never got the right fit in the seat, and hated the way people looked at me driving it. Don't bash - I know it's a different car, for a different purpose, with a different engine methodology - but it IS held up as the standard of the "4 door sports car". I disagree, and have no problem driving the underrated car. That misconception lets me drive it more! Let's face it, we owners are a bunch of torque/comfort/space/gas mileage/engineering junkies - and we own the best of the breed! 174,000 miles on a 1997 Aero, and I'll replace any part necessary until there is a viable replacement - and I'll be looking the whole time!
