anger cassette without communication to the Head Unit (bus-cable disconnected), but only power on the changer?
The reason I ask is that I cannot unload the cassette with the unload button on the changer and cannot select the cd-changer on my HU and therefore want to make sure if the fault lies in the HU or the changer itself. Power, ground and bus-cable has been checked and are OK.
My theory is that if the cd-changer should unload without communication to the HU, the fault lies in the changer itself and I can replace the changer. If the fault lies in the HU, I may consider replacing the whole system.
The set is Pioneer, but I guess the system with a HU controlling a remote cd-changer is pretty much the same as Sony, HK and other car stereo system.
All help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance
