Well after almost 2 weeks since the dufus hit my '92 9000s their isurance company(Amica) finally contacted me.
They said my car was a total loss, and were only going to give me a lowball figure of $1,575 cash value for it. That was too low for me to accept.
I went online and found several 1992 9000s for sale in the price range of $2,000 - $3000. Got the NADA and KBB values for my car in GOOD CONDITION (which it was in before the dufus hit me). And sent the info to them, as backup to why I was saying my car was worth more than their 1st offer.
They came back with a higher amount today over $2,000 which I could live with, and should be able to get my car fixed for.
I guess the best news of all is that Amica did not even want to mess with the salvage of the car and flat out said I can keep it, and I don't have to buy it back from them.
I have already scoped out 2 donor cars at the salvage yard for the body parts I'd need to fix my car up.
