Oh boy...Aero problem

Hi everyone and Merry Christmas. Just purchased my second Aero, a '96 5 speed with 100,000KM on the clock in June. I bought the car thinking I would sell it as the owner had listed it as a "5 speed auto" and clearly didn't get the response he would have had he listed it correctly. As a result, I was the highest bidder and walked off with the car for what I thought was a steal. The dilema: transmission fell apart at 110,000KM and I decided to rebuild with the dealer. Now, I know that's nuts, but under the circumstances, it was the best option. It is HUGE money (4500 CAN) but I like to have my cars done by the pros. Anyway, as I mentioned, I wanted to sell the car as I didn't like the colour (Scarabe with tan) and decided to drive her for a little while. So, NOW, I am thinking a lot more seriously about selling the car. Just wondering what you think I should be asking? It's a MINT car, no dents, very minor rust and EXTREMELY low kilometers. I know I can't get my cash back on the tranny job, but does anyone have some ideas/advice as to what they think I should do? Thanks!
