It never blew the fuse. I just sometimes would not work with the key, remote, or inside switch. Sometimes they would work in one direction. That is, they would lock but not unlock. The lights and alarm worked properly. In the process of trying to free things up by cycling between lock and unlock when it was working I did burn out a door lock actuator.
The controller is supposed to send a 0.7 second pluse to the actuators. If for some reason the pulse is much longer it could blow the fuse. I think there may be some sort of thermal circuit breaker or such in the controller because it seems if you lock and unlock several times in a row the system becomes inoperative until something cools off.
