The cooling fan and AC compressor are not coming on at all in my recently purchased 9000.
Tonight I hooked the car battery up to the cooling fan motor leads, and the fan runs great. I cleaned the contact for the plug on the fan connection. I also checked all of the fuses in the main fuse panel, as well as the engine compartment fuse panel.
I have another 9000 of the same year, with functioning cooling fan and AC compressor. I swapped each relay in the engine compartment and main relay panel that is involved with AC and the cooling fan.
None of this solved anything. I wiggled relays and fuses as well.
What should I try next to solve these problems? BTW, the AC compressor clutch doesnt engage anytime, not even with the engine off and ignition switched on, with AC on LO.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Rob
