Would this be a good alt to the BPV? Would just limiting max boost be sufficient?

Manual Boost Controller
For 240, 700 and 900 Turbos
This boost controller mounts in line between the intake manifold and the wastegate. The controller holds the manifold signal in check until the desired boost level is reached. Delaying the boost signal decreases boost lag for an increase in lower rpm performance. It can also be used as a more accessible boost level adjustment device.
This is a completely mechanical device at hundreds of dollars less than electronic boost controllers. Simple installation is well under an hour and no wiring. We recommend the use of a boost gauge and some form of mixture monitoring device when increasing boost. See air fuel ratio meter on previous page. Comes with basic installation instructions and hardware.
