If you had the dash top off and can see the styrofoam then maybe you can pour "something" over the foam to coat it and that may quiet it.
I think removing the airbag involves removing the "SRS" emblem at the top left of the airbag ex glove box.Then there are two plugs on the panel below the "glove box/airbag left and right which will expose screws that will remove the airbag which will expose the styrofoam.Removing the styrofoam and it's bracket(it's bolted through the aquarium and I can barely feel the two lower bolts let alone see them.
The dash top idea is probably the easiest way to attack the problem.
You may even be able to stuff something in between whats causing the squeak.
If you do go for the removal you must un plug the airbag connector.
I hit a full tractor trailer retread with my '95 and both airbags deployed.I went to the scrap yard for the driver's side and still have not figured out what I am doing with the passenger side.I did get a glove box in case I don't want to re=airbag but the styrofoam bracket has to be removed and I may want to sell her and don't want to de-value her with a glove box as opposed to an airbag.I have 4 sweet Aero's.
