Don't know if you realize it or not, but you are on your third and last bearing set! Saab does not support the part because it is known to fail prematurely. The early failure is undoubtedly the reason why many 1990 9000s are fitted with older style tensioners.

Fortunately it isn't hard to retrofit the 1990 motor with the older style tensioner. You need an older style tensioner and the mounting block and bolts, both of which can be cannibalized from a pre-1990 motor. The mounting block serves as a spacer between the motor and the tensioner. One corner of the bearing plate for the automatic tensioner (the plate serves to support the PS pump if I recall correctly) is bolted to one of the holes that is used to attach the mounting block. That corner of the plate must be cut off using a hacksaw or dremel tool to allow the mounting block to be installed.

Once the mounting block is bolted to the motor, it is easy to install the manual tensioner.
