As long as the amp can handle the lower impedance, it will actually increase the power output. It may not be as efficient in terms of power in vs power out, but it will be higher. The power delivered to the speakers is the voltage squared divided by the impedance. You can see by this formula that the amp could potentially deliver twice the power to the 2 ohm speaker. However, this assumes that the amp can deliver the required current as well. It likely can't deliver enough for twice the power, but it probably can exceed the power delivered to the 4 ohm load. Contrary to what was stated earlier, a higher impedance speaker than the amp was designed for will always lower the power.
The Saab speakers are almost certainly NOT 2 ohms. I have never come across or heard of a stock automotive speaker being lower than 4 ohms.
