i see your point...but one guy told me the pressure plate metal is not as strong as the flywheel metal...maybe its just a gimmick for them to save...i've had a clutch with the softer stuff on the pressure plate side with ceramic on the other on another vehicle.....it doesnt grab like a dual ceramic initially, but it does grab...
anyhow i have ceramic on both sides
