Hello there!

it's nice to run into other people who are trying to soup up 90 9kt's
they are a difficult system to modify.

I can guarantee you, with absolute 100% certainty, that the diagnostic code flashes will not work with ANY performance chip upgrades in this system.

In fact, I've even had some very odd behavior of the check engine light if i recall correctly.

If you feel comfortable swapping the stock chips back in, and retrying the check engine codes...

i can gurantee they will respond as normal again.

I have no idea why this is, perhaps the saab ecu codes and diagnostics were encypted information that the chip tuners didnt have access to, or perhaps since it didn't look like relevant informaiton when the tuning was being done, they didn't copy the bin files over to the new chips.

I myself have tried several chips in my 90 9kt, including a custom mapped one from jak stoll in North carolina. I have also used ABBOTT racing ecu chips and di.apc chips.

I actually still have them, and am not using them anymore. Hmm..

anyways...

don't worry about it, those codes never showed me anything anyways.
