Being nearly 10 years old, probably the only warranty you will be able to get will be one of those aftermarket ones like they offer on used cars at dealerships. They pretty much just cover the motor and transmission in case they die.

For my money, on a '98 9000, I'd save the money and not get a warranty. They generally won't cover small stuff like a window motor or muffler, and they pretty much can get out of taking care of anything using their crafty small-print in the details of the warranty.

9000's go FOREVER if taken care of. Save your money, change the oil, maintain the car, and if something horrific did happen like the motor blowing, a replacement can be found and installed by your indy for the price of the warranty.

Just my $0.02....
