Check motor mounts, if the lower front passenger side one is
bad, it causes a similar noise.
I temporarily fixed the problem by zip tying a 2" or so piece
of common garden hose to the inside of the bracket above the motor mount, the bracket that keeps the mount from strecthing too high on
acceleration. I zip tied it so that the hose is pointed in the same
direction as the car, not from side to side. It worked fine to stop
the engine from moving up and down, making the noise.
