Richard, for the rear springs, first pull off the sway bar mount on the axle. Then, with the axle / wheels in the air (jackstand under the jack-area in front of the rear tire), place a floor jack under the control arm that connects from the body, to the axle of the car (right under the bottom of the coil spring). Jack up on that control arm a smidge, and remove the bolt that connects the arm to the axle. Release the jack, and the arm will lower, releasing the spring. Replace the spring, put the arm-to-axle bolt back in, put the sway bar mount back on and repeat for the other side. The springs have rubber bushings top and bottom.
For the fronts, I'm not sure if you can just kind of line everything up after bolting the strut to the knuckle, then lower the car, compressing the spring, and giving enough meat to bolt the strut bushing to the strut itself or not. You should probably get a 2nd opinion on that....
