i'm not familiar with later ABS, but heres what the book says for 88-90 with a few notes of my own:
1. siphon off fluid from the reservoir, refill.
2. Right hand front wheel, bleed in the usual way with a helper, drain a half quart from this caliper! i assume this is to drain the ABS accumulator. I suggest stepping on the brakes enough that it's unpressurized, before you siphon off the brake fluid from the reservoir in the first place, this seems to be the same result with a lot less pedal work.
3. Left hand front wheel, same as the other, but only a tenth of a quart.
4. have a helper turn on the ignition, and depress the brake.
(Caution, pump must not run 2 minutes at a time, allow to cool for 10)
5. bleed a tenth of a quart from each rear caliper.
