This box is used in '92 to '94 9000's that have the vacuum type cruise control. If the '94 is NON TCS...I would check the ECU first, before anything else!
I know some of you will argue to check the switches and vacuum lines first, but I have dealt with this same issue in my '92 9000s. The switches and vacuum were both good...ECU bad.
The #41 08 650 ECU is a really flaky control box. There either totally dead, or will work intermittently...either when hot or cold.
I simply made an adapter plug, to convert from the #41 08 650 connector to the older connector. I did not re-wire my car for the older ECU.
I have been using a #95 26 757 ECU in my car for almost a year now..and the cruise has not fialed to work once since!
See earlier posts I have made for more info.
