A few days ago I posted that my intermittant high idle was solved by replacing the vac line between intake and charcoal canister. I spoke too soon cause 3 days later the idle is back to 1400 or so some of the time and normal at other times. I have discoverd that when the idle is inconsistent the "shift up" light in the panel does not come on. When the engine idles normally the shift up light operates normally. This may indicate a vacuum leak in another line but I do not know which one. Or maybe another component in the vacuum system. I have replaced: AIC, O2 sensor, cleaned throttle body, checked manifold bolts for tightness, replaced plugs. This high idle seems to happen when the engine and ouside temperature is warm. All suggestions are appreciated.
