I used the vaseline and c-clamp method and it was a real struggle. The best suggestion I have heard so far, is to use a piece of thin wall tubing slightly larger than the bushing. (Copper water pipe might be a candidate.) Saw a kerf the length of the tubing and place the greased bushing inside. Use hose clamps around the tubing to compress the bushing. Then use the c-clamp to push the bushing out of the tube into the sway bar. It would kind of work like a piston ring compressor.
