Hey I had excessive vibration on hard acceleration and have triggered it down to the inner cv joint or driver(on drivers side) which I think it is called. Today I pulled the axle out all the way up to the tripod bearing assembly but can't seam to get the inner driver housing out. For people in question it is this part on eeuroparts.com
http://www.eeuroparts.com/productdetail.aspx?searchResults=1&code=4634
The shaft outer part came out really easy but I can't get the inner part to pop out. The reason is one of the bearings on the tripod was bad and also there is a warn grove on the part that the tripod goes into.
I tried prying it with force with a smaller breaker bar becasue not much can fit in there but have had no luck does anyone know of any tricks or ideas of what they have used in the past.
I am kinda new with saab's and got my first project car and have loved working on it. It is almost ready to go and I think this is my last step. If anyone has some good recomendations on the easiest way to fix this and also the cheapest way I am all ears to you and really appreciate the responses.
Thanks
