On the back of the oil pan is the oil level sensor. There is an O-ring that can cause a leak when it gets old and brittle. To replace the O-ring, drain the oil, remove the sensor by unscrewing three screws, then pull it out. Replace the O-ring. Don't forget to drain the oil first, because the sensor is at the oil level in the sump.
Another leak source is the O-ring on the dip-stick tube. This requires removal of the engine mount bracket to get to it. Support the oil pan with a jack and a block of wood when you have the mount bracket removed.
