New chapter in continuing saga of '92 9000 burning oil:

After installing a used turbo in our '92 9000 T, I drained and cleaned residual oil from turbo air intake and intercooler that was left behind from (what I think was) turbo oil seal failure, changed plugs (3 oil fouled 1 okay). It took 12-15 tries to get the engine to sputter to life. It was belching white (oil) smoke from the tail pipe. After 10 minutes, it settled down, idling evenly at 900 RPM. During 2 mile road test, all systems fine; turbo boost, lots of power, no oil smoke under accelleration with one exception. On accelleration, after removing foot from the accellerator (back pressure), a short burst of oil smoke would billow out the tail pipe and then disapear.

The engine oil was 1/2 quart over filled, but I drained it and road tested again. Same results. Pulled the plugs after 2nd road test, all chalk white (oil deposit). I rule out head gasket, valve stems and rings since all plugs look the same. I doubt used turbo seal failure (came from 100 K engine with no problems). There are a limited number of places where the oil could be entering the fuel/air intake system. Are there check valves, hoses, etc on the oil venting system that could fail and allow oil vapor to be sucked into the engine by back pressure?
