Intermittent loss of all electrics (`94 Aero)

Our 1994 Aero (260K miles) has developed an intermittent electrical problem that is proving difficult to diagnose. The symptom is the momentary and complete loss of all vehicle electrics for about half a second. This includes ignition and every electrical device in the car. Sometimes multiple hour-long drives will go by without this happening. Other times it will occur every few minutes. If the vehicle is not accelerating, it just manifests itself as the radio/lights/radar being interrupted. If the vehicle is accelerating at all, the engine is interrupted (lurch) for that fraction of a second. I’ve been unable to correlate this to anything useful, like engine or air temp. It seldom happens at idle. It almost always is of this half-second duration.
Two different techs have looked at this and remain stumped. The car has a new battery, alternator, DI cassette, O2 sensor and is very clean for its age. Our tech is now in “shotgun” mode, recently replacing the clock/vehicle computer as there is some evidence that this could case the problem (although I don’t know how).
Electrical issues have been the death of three of our previous Saabs and we hope it isn’t the case here too. Any feedback on where to look is appreciated.
