No use to beat around the bush. Get a new one while the car is still driveable.
It sounds like you have the original cassette since the coils are replaceable.
Saab actually had a bulletin out in those days saying it was no need to replace the whole cassette if only one coil was bad. In 93 though it all changed when they came out with the new cassette with glued in coils and non replaceable and made that cassette compatible with the 90-92 9000 also.
The ignition cassette is a wear and tear item just like the older ignition cap, rotor and plugwires were.
After 100K miles it is a good idea to think about replacement if it hasn't gone bad already before that.
