Sorry about that! The terrible tires were Toyo Proxes FZ4s, not Falkens! Please see the "corrected" post below. Let me know if something still doesn't make sense.
"I've got them on my '87 9kT in size 225/50-15 on 15" rims. It's a bit of a weird size, so my choices are limited unless I want to spend big bucks.
They ride well, are quiet, and get good grip for an all-season. I wasn't too impressed with their wet weather traction, but it's certainly decent. Compared to the horrible Toyo Proxes FZ4s I had before they are great. Tread wear was poor for me though. They lasted maybe half as long as the Toyos. For my next tires, I think I'll try the Kuhmo ASTs which get good reviews and are quite inexpensive.
