EVAP purge valve?

The atmospheric pressure in the tank is maintained by the EVAP system. If your purge valve is stuck closed, there will be a build-up of vacuum in the tank that can caused the symptoms you describe.
The valve is located on the canister which sites in the right front fender.
Something to check.
