...Any Hydrogen ions will be dissipated in the hot sun or with the first time the brakes heat up the unit for a prolonged drive.
These rotors are super thick. I am not advocating overnight soaks here. Just 2 hours to get rid of anything that might make fine dust.
The front rotors are already acid cleaned, washed in water, recleaned with brake cleaning fluid and installed. They look and work awesome after just a couple of hours in diluted plumber's acid. You can still clearly see the factory tool marks, as only a timiy bit of material is removed in 2 hours. I diluted to about 1 part acid in 2-3 parts water.
Thanks for your concern though. An overnight soak would definately be a bad idea and would thin out the units to unacceptable dimensions.
