Park lights/alarm has mind of its own (long)

Noticed the park lights were on after car had been shut off a couple hours previously. Opened the door to check switch and lights started flashing like I had set off the alarm. Headlight switch was in off position, closed door, turned key in door lock three times to the left to shut off alarm, lights kept flashing, then finally quit. Then waited about ten seconds and the park lights came back on steady, no flashing. Then I repeated everything again with the same results. So I pulled the #22 fuse (hazard lights/alarm) and got them to turn off. So where do I look? Headlight switch, ignition, alarm, door locks? A problem I haven't looked into on my car is the drivers door lock not working with the key. If you turn the key in the lock, the door lock inside doesn't move. But you can push it up or down from inside the car and all the locks will lock. So when locking up the car I close the drivers door and then open the rear door and reach around and lock all the locks with the drivers lock. But then to get back in, I have to open the right front door with the key and reach across and pull up the drivers door lock. I usually leave the doors unlocked and do not set the alarm. And is there a way to get the siren to work with the alarm since it hasn't made a peep.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Captain
