Quite different from a CSE/CS/CD, unless you have the 'Super CSE', from
what I learned having the Aero, it is a very different animal parts-wise
and as you said, can be a great deal of trouble and hard to learn about !
I have had opportunities to easily acquire both '92 and '93 cars with the
TCS/ETS and even a very nice '94 with those once - but I have learned by
painful experiences that it is much better to stick with a non-TCS/ETS
car if it can be avoided.
The response from the ETS was a real pleasure when it wasn't in 'limp
home' mode....but not worth the price or the troubles I had; the very
first thing that '93 Aero needed was a throttle body and since I knew so
little at that point it cost almost $1000 - OUCH !
Now there are people who repair/rebuild that stuff and it can be fixed
at a lower cost....but it's still too scary for me.
My current rig - a '91 9KT simply delights me because it is missing all
that extra stuff, and that is soooooo appreciated by me.
Best Wishes,
