As a series of steps:
1. Remove 14mm cap over parking brake adjuster.
2. Use a 4mm Allen wrench to back out the piston.
3. Push the parking brake lever on the caliper and slide the parking brake cable end out of its slot.
4. Push the cable back through the ring so that is free of the caliper.
5. Loosen the two sliding pins underneath the rubber caps with a 7mm Allen wrench. (note that sometimes these pins are a Torx bolt--in that case use the right wrench)
6. If the pins don't fall out on their own, insert the Allen wrench, cock it sideways just a bit to get a grip on the bolt, and pull it out.
7. At this point the caliper should pull out of the carrier. On pad will stay with the caliper because it has prongs that fit into the piston.
You should not have to remove the two carrier mounting bolts or the carrier unless you need to remove the rotor. Even at that, I have found that you can remove the rotor on the rear, but not the front, by cocking the rotor on the side opposite of the caliper and sliding in out.
