93 is an odd year. Check the name plate of the gear box. It should be GM-75701. I believe a gear box from 91 to 93 should fit. But you may not get the same gear ratio unless you stick with MY93. According to the tech. manual, 91 use GM-75403, 92 use GM-75404. Non-turbo engines use GM-65103 from 91 to 93. From this description gear box from 91 to 93 should be have the same bolt pattern.
The drive flange difference is easy to resolve. You can always use the one on the blown gear box if it is different. I also understand the drive shafts are of different length on both sides prior to 94. From 94 to 98 the passenger side and driver side drive shafts are interchangeable.
