I have been reading about the speedo not working in my 9000 aero....and found out about the speedometer transducer that is next to the shift rod coupler....i was just wondering how to take it out? do i just use a wrench and turn until it comes out? there is a little give before it turns and I was feeling like i was gonna break it so i stopped.....but the connection seemed fine, i just wanna get it out to check the bottom and see if that is the problem...but i have another question, it is possible that the connection at the actual speedo under the dash is messed up? because everything else works....the tach...fuel gauge, temp, turbo, warning lights, edu works fine....the only problem I have is that the dash lights dont light up....only when i go over a bump they light for 10 seconds and then go away....i kno this is a common sign for the dimmer switch so i ordered another one.....
i hope just the speedo transducer is just messed up because I cant pay 1500+ to rebuild the tranny...and also....i have an aero and im only at baseboost because of the non working speedo....not fun....
any help?
